What an awesome weekend! Madison's One of a Kind Scrapbooking Event on Friday and Saturday. I also squeezed in a Wendy Vecchi class on Friday afternoon! I can't get enough of her beautiful artwork:D Sunday, I went to see New Moon. Yes, I am camp Edward! New Moon was incredibly good! Better than I expected. I'm so used to movies not living up to their books, but this one sure does! If you haven't seen it, GO! Better yet, read the series:D

Happy Organization - Part 2
This is the other side of the room. Checkout all that light! I HAD to have my work space by those windows. You can't see it here, but it is a double window that takes up almost the whole wall. I just hung some room darkening pleated shades for the evenings. The large table in the back houses all of my tools. What good are they if you don't have them out to use?
Boy! I'm feeling gutsy today:) This is the inside of my closet. The dresser is filled with my goodies. However, I have just discovered the beauty of hanging my products in see-through bags and I LOVE IT! This really frees up space from my drawers and reminds me of what I have:D
And, this is my new way of storing my punches. (Looks like Mom borrowed some:)
And, FINALLY, I have a place to keep my sewing machine out and ready for me at a moments notice:)
Enjoy your day!

Happy Organization!
Some of you may recall that I moved all of my crafting supplies to my oldest daughter's room once she moved out last month. I have been spending a ton of time reorganizing the room (thanks for your help Mom!) and I thought it was time to show you how it turned out. Now, keep in mind, I still need to hang my artwork on the walls...

This is my favorite seat in the house. The place where I read, crochet and listen to the radio. I'm sure it doesn't look like much to you, but to me, it's solitude. See that white cabinet next to my loveseat? I bought it from this wonderful lady on craigs list. She had it custom made to hold their videos. After remodeling, they put it up for sale.
Isn't it perfect for my stamp sets?!?
And, let me tell you...this cabinet is HEAVY!
I'm a very visual person, so I like to have my goodies in see-through jars.
Stay tuned for part 2 a little later:D

A few more Crafty Secrets ornaments
This one features a Christmas tree and deer stamped a few layers back.
This one is big on the pearl distressed ink dauber. Too bad that photos don't do it justice.
Gotta love Crafty Secrets! They make my homemade, vintage ornaments simply beautiful!
Let me know which is your favorite?

Crafty Secrets Christmas Joy
I'm excited to share some of my handmade Christmas ornaments with you today! I'm putting them up for sale in my shop.
Start with a blank cardstock...
Sponge on some Distressed Alcohol Ink...
Add some Pearl Distressed Dauber AI...
Adhere one of your favorite Crafty Secrets pics and embellish as you wish.
To the sewing machine we go...
Layer the card on top of a piece of felt and a piece of broadcloth.
Finish it by adding eyelets with your crop-a-dile and some twine to hang.
FUN!

Great Weekend!
I hope everyone had a GREAT weekend because I sure did:D I participated in a craft fair and enjoyed meeting other vendors and see all of their personal creations. There is just something so satisfying about conversing with others that practice and share their creativity. Here's a picture of part of my booth.
I featured St. Nick treats for sale. Here is a picture of the treat purses I made. They were a big hit.
The gum is attached with glue dots.
My Papertrey Ink package arrived today! Gotta go play!

The Girl On Legare Street (Tradd Street)
OMG! I'm so excited! One of my favorite authors, Karen White, has come out with her next book.
Amazon shipped my pre-ordered copy to me yesterday! Yippee!! If you have never read a Karen White book, I highly recommend to. ALL of her books are fantastic! I have read them all and I have been anxiously waiting for this one. This one is the second in a series that she has created. The first one was The House on Tradd Street. The story has it all -- mystery, comedy, romance, intrique!
Once I get through this latest book, I'll be sure to write up my personal review. Happy Tuesday!
