I made myself this table runner. I don't know about you, but I never have enough table runners and prefer them to be homemade:) I started another one this evening because I need one in green. These are a rag throw style, and I just love how much fun they are to make. They all turn out differently because I always change up my pattern. I'm thinking of designing a shopping/market bag using this technique so stay tuned:)

Just can't wait!
If you recall, I told you the other day that I am out of town for work, but I snuck some supplies in my carryon. Well, here is a sample of the inking I did last night.
Fun, but I definitely don't have enough goodies with me to finish these up. Hopefully when I get home I'll have time to do a lot more with these:)

Out of town
Out of town for work this week in beautiful Orlando, FL! Too bad it's just to sit in a technical training class:( I did, however, sneak some of my inks and rubber in my carry-on, so I have something to do. It's raining here now which is pretty ironic since back home in WI it's beautiful:)

Nesting Swap
Well, this is a first for me...I've never participated in a "Nesting Swap" before. But, I love it! I finally got my packages out in the mail yesterday:
I'm not going to show you what goodies I put inside, though, because I want my recipients to be surprised:D
I hope they will enjoy them.
Here is a picture of the first package I received in the swap from Beth:
Isn't that little birds nest adorable!?! Her matchbox is filled with all kinds of nesting goodness; thread, ribbons, beads, and even bird feathers!! I LOVE IT! Thank you Beth!
I'll be back tomorrow with pictures of more.

Journaling
Because I've been busy with the 39 squares stitchalong, I haven't had much time to create in my journal. However, on Easter Sunday I took some time out for myself.
Do you see my awesome resist embossing? So much fun!

Easter Purses
I just LOVE making new little goodies for my nieces! So, for Easter this year, I made each of them a mini crocheted purse.
Hand-sewing in a lining was a cinch, and makes these cuties that much more useful.
Three darling nieces, and three unique gifts. I hope they will like them:) Have a blessed Easter!
