Gearing up for Father's day

Always a challenge -- Creating Father's Day cards.  Well, this weekend I bought some new stamps and played a little with making manly cards.  Here's a few:

Adirondack's are my favorite!  What's your favorite summer relaxing furniture?

Crazy Busy!

Boy!  I don't know about you, but when life gets busy, my blogging tends to fall by the wayside.  It's going to take me days to get caught up on the 200+ blogs that I read!  Anyways, in addition to starting up my new business, I've enjoyed reading two GREAT books!  The first one I read was "True Colors" by Kristin Hannah.
It's a great story about three sisters and their life experiences through 3 decades.  I highly recommend it!  Then, last night I just finished reading another book by Kristin Hannah, "Firefly Lane".

Firefly Lane follows the life of two best friends that meet when they are 14 and their turbulent lives.  These two really are an unlikely pair, and you can really relate to the references if you were a teen in the 70's like I was.  My sister is the one that turned me on to True Colors, and now I'm waiting for her to pass along another Kristin Hannah novel, Mystic Lake.  I'll let you know how that one is:)

Changes....

I think our keyboard should have musical notes so that you can tell when I'm singing;D  Life has been very busy, as always, and Linda Barutha Designs is going through some fun changes as well.  I've decided to "meld" my business and design worlds...

so, stay tuned...

Latest project

Just one of my latest projects...
Not really sure what this is going to turn into.  Originally, when I started it, I wanted it to be a table runner.   I think I will still do that, but I haven't decided how many other  colors I will add:)  What do you think?

Question

What kind of battery do you use in your digital camera?
I have been using rechargeable batteries, however, lately, no matter how much I recharge my batteries, they never have enough charge to work.  So now I'm really starting to wonder -- how many people are really using rechargeable batteries SUCCESSFULLY?

Please leave me your opinions:)
