Busy, busy, busy!

My weekends are so precious!  My biggest problem is deciding what to do first.  I maintain a website for the local scrapbook and stamping store, Polkadots and More, and that has kept me pretty busy this weekend.  They teach a lot of classes and like to share pictures of their class kits so that customers can refer to them when they are at home trying to finish their projects.  So, I decided to load each tutorial onto Scribd.com.  Have you ever used Scribd?  It seems pretty handy.  Probably similar to Google Docs.  But any time you are dealing with a ton of pictures, things sure do take a long time to complete. 

Regardless, I am very behind on my cardmaking!  September brings plenty of wedding anniversaries and birthdays in our family.  Speaking of family, I thought I would share a picture taken last weekend at my parent's anniversary party.  This is a picture of myself, my sister Lori and my brother Ron.  I also have a brother that lives in Arizona who unfortunately wasn't able to be there.

A couple years ago, I made this 16x20 canvas piece for my Mom to hang in her craft room.  I made a completely different one for my aunt and myself, but I can't seem to find any pictures to share with you today of them:(  I'll put it on my to-do list.

Happy 50th Wedding Anniversary

My brother, sister and I hosted a 50th wedding anniversary party for my parents yesterday.  What a GREAT day!  So much fun!  The party was pretty intimate -- relatives and their closest, dearest friends.  The highlight of the party was when we had the couples play a version of The Newlywed Game.  Too funny!  5 couples that entertained us whole-heartedly! 
I can't thank them enough for the laughs and great family memories.
