New Year's Resolutions

Well, it's that time of year again.  Time to reflect on the past year and look forward to what kind of adjustments you want to make in your life for the coming year.  In all of my blog-hopping, I came across the Brave Girls Club.  If you aren't familiar with this, trust me, you will want to become familiar with it.  On a good news - bad news note, the Brave Girls Club Soul Restoration retreat, which starts in January, 2011, is already full (and I can't afford it), BUT, I did join the online workshop version of it (and was able to afford it).  My package of supplies came from them this week and all I can say is "YES"!  I'm soooooooooooooo excited about this journey!  And, if you are interested, I think you can still get in on the online version.  After watching their videos, I'm thinking this will be the perfect way to start off the new year!

Since I've barely posted on my blog for the past few months, one of my resolutions is to be more consistent and hopefully inspiring to others, since all of you are so inspirational to me.

What are your resolutions?

Still stitchin'...

These wool felt cases are great for business cards, credit cards, money, mp3 players, cell phones and more!  I find it so relaxing to sit and stitch in the evenings.  These are going to be Christmas gifts, and I'm making more to sell in my Etsy shop shortly.

Really! I've been stitching!

Although I should be showing you my stitchalong progress, I couldn't resist showing you another stitching project that I worked on this week:
I just love this!  This hand-stitched pocket fits my cell phone perfectly!  Back to my stitching;D

25 Days of Christmas Stitchalong Has Begun!

It might not look like much now, but today is only day 1!  As I was stitching my outline today, I was thinking about what I wanted to create with the finished project.  Maybe a throw pillow?  What do you do with your stitched goodies?  Be sure to check out what everyone else is doing during this stitchalong, but checking out the primary blog HERE.
