I'm working on completing an crocheted throw for my MIL's birthday. This is a new stitch to me, but super duper simple! I got the pattern free at www.premieryarns.com. It's called "Textured Stripes Afghan", designed by Drew Emborsky. You basically make 4 squares and then whipstitch them together. This is my first square. I started this in December and haven't really been working on it, so I need to get my butt in gear!

I LOVE Valentines
How about you? My inspiration for these two cards came from an Archiver's ad I received online. Can you say shabby, distressed, romantic, FUN!
Do you see the shimmer? LOVE IT!

FINALLY!
For the most part I haven't been posting for the past few months because I was so busy creating Christmas presents. Well, now that the gifts are distributed, I can finally share with you;D
So, here is my first "share".
My youngest niece, Jordyn, turned 3 on Dec. 26th. I made her this baby doll rag quilt and bought the doll to go with. My youngest daughter, Michelle (turning 20 next week), still has and adores a baby doll just like this. You wouldn't believe how worn out "Lefty" is, but you can imagine why she is named Lefty;D
